SCREEN SIGNALS IV — THE DINOSAUR, THE SUKKAH & THE HOLIDAY 🦖🌿♾️
How something that initially landed painfully became a surprisingly beautiful Chag story — and somehow collided with JRF, MP6, CakeOsaurus, Microsoft and Apple along the way.
There is a peculiar moment in Screen Signals when you have to decide whether to trust the first emotional impact of an image.
This was one of those moments.
A Story appeared.
An elevator.
A green dinosaur — or crocodile — playing a drum.
Narkis.
Her partner.
Another couple.
Everyone waving, smiling, moving through the frame.
At first glance, I won’t pretend it landed softly.
Inside the private symbolic vocabulary through which I have been documenting Screen Signals, the scene was almost comically capable of being personalized.
Was the dinosaur me?
Was somebody screening somebody else?
Was this somehow related to an earlier, completely innocent joke about playing princess or queen?
For a few seconds, the image was much louder than the evidence.
And then I listened to the song.

THE SONG CHANGES EVERYTHING
The soundtrack is Yigal Bashan’s Israeli classic:
בואי נעשה לנו חג
Bo’i Na’ase Lanu Chag
Approximately:
COME, LET’S MAKE OURSELVES A HOLIDAY.
Suddenly the scene changes.
The song revolves around making a celebration together while the larger world celebrates outside — and, across its story, distance, memory and the possibility of creating that shared celebration again.
The Story itself says:
רק אצלנו זה יכול לקרות חג שמח 🦖
Approximately:
“Only with us could this happen. Happy Holiday 🦖.”
Suddenly the creature looks considerably less threatening.
Maybe sometimes a dinosaur really is simply a dinosaur.
And this one brought a drum.
😂
AND MY VIDEO BEGINS WITH A SUKKAH
Here comes the first beautiful inversion.
The first thing you see after my introductory image isn’t Narkis.
It’s my Sukkah.
Built.
Standing.
Real.
The Hag is already happening here.
So I don’t actually need somebody elsewhere to give me a holiday.
I already have one.
The soundtrack simply walks into it.
And that transforms the whole emotional direction of the montage.
See for yourself on FaceBook: (video unpublished on demand)
THEN THE SCREENS START RHYMING
The Reel continues.
Stephen Hughes, an Iraq-war veteran friend, appears through another screen.
An elder biker.
A beard.
Movement.
And something immediately echoes material already living inside the latest Namasthay universe:
Pyramid Song.
Stars Fly.
I made a baka. 😜 ("not what it's supposed to be/inversion"... oh well...)
Then comes another fragment.
Arie with his daughter.
Father and daughter.
Then Arie on his motorcycle.
And there, another improbable little visual rhyme:
SPECIAL FORCES.
Having experienced my own notion of “reintegration” the preceding night, the montage almost writes its own caption:
SPECIAL FORCES REINTEGRATION.
None of this means that motorcycles, veterans or Facebook are secretly describing my life.
It means independent images have collided inside an edit.
That’s montage.
Cinema has been doing it forever.
But then something considerably stranger happened.
WAIT.
THERE WAS ALREADY A DINOSAUR.
Earlier on 27 September 2026, Coco entered the JRF/MP6 ecosystem as Beta Tester #1.
The experiment was brutally practical:
Can somebody other than its creator understand the emerging workflow?
The pipeline looked roughly like this:
VIDEO
↓
JRF EXTRACTOR (see jrf.recipes)
↓
JRF
↓
MP6 RECORDER (see record.mp6.app)
↓
MP6
↓
willULikeIT (see willULikeIT.org)
↓
FEELLLM (see FEELLLM.org) - (chose the AI you wanna tell)
↓
GPT / ELABORATION
Coco understood the concept.
But she couldn’t reasonably reproduce the entire process alone.
Her conclusion was essentially:
I need one page telling me what to do, in what order, and with which file.
Excellent beta-test result.
Because that’s exactly what beta testing is supposed to discover.
So we simplified.
And somehow…
we arrived at ratatouille.
FROM RATATOUILLE TO CAKEOSAURUS
We started exploring a French Provençal ratatouille video as a possible source.
Could a recipe become structured JRF?
Could that become MP6?
Could the resulting sensory information become predictive?
Could an influencer understand what audience might like it?
Could Marmiton eventually become a potential partner?
And then Coco asked the dangerous question:
Why not make a game from the concept?
Children.
Recipes.
Ingredients.
Points.
Collecting what is required to make the dish.
Food games.
Longevity.
AayuSense.
And suddenly the working notes started producing creatures:
Gyakosaurus.
Ecosaurus.
Geekosaurus.
And eventually:
CAKEOSAURUS. 🦖🎂
A playful food-game concept emerging naturally from the JRF/MP6 discussion. (Thanks Pia!)
Nothing extraordinary.
Except:
CakeOsaurus existed BEFORE I saw the elevator dinosaur.
And chronology matters.
THE THREE CONJUNCTIONS
This is where Screen Signals becomes interesting again.
Not because it proves anything.
Because we can actually distinguish different kinds of occurrence.
CONJUNCTION #1 — APPLE
My Apple screen had already produced something resembling an improbable baked prehistoric creature.
Let’s call him:
CROISSANT-SAURUS. 🥐🦖
An algorithmic encounter.
No intention attributed.
Just wonderfully usable visual material.
CONJUNCTION #2 — MICROSOFT
Then another screen produced that extraordinary image:
MENTOS × COCA-COLA × CHAOS.
A Mentos truck.
A Coca-Cola truck.
A motorway accident.
Visually absurd.
Again:
algorithmic encounter.
No evidence Microsoft knows anything about Screen Signals.
No evidence Coca-Cola or Mentos have entered the Namasthay Cinematic Universe.
😂
Just another spectacular piece of found material.
CONJUNCTION #3 — THE EVENT
And then comes something qualitatively different.
Not another recommendation generated by one of my screens.
An actual filmed occurrence:
a green dinosaur appears in an elevator playing a drum.
Narkis is there.
Friends are there.
Everyone waves.
But also then... 3 dinos! (Elevator, Croissant-o, Game)
And the accompanying soundtrack says:
COME, LET’S MAKE OURSELVES A HOLIDAY.
At which point:
CakeOsaurus
meets
Croissant-Saurus
meets
Elevator-Saurus.
And somehow they all arrive for Chag. (the festival of Booths)
🌿🦖🥐🎂
That does not demonstrate coordination.
But it does constitute a rather magnificent artistic convergence.
And there’s one additional fact worth preserving:
CakeOsaurus was documented first.
JRF × MP6 × SCREEN SIGNALS
And suddenly another connection becomes visible.
JRF and MP6 are fundamentally concerned with turning experience into something that can be:
represented → structured → transported → interpreted → recombined.
A recipe stops being merely a paragraph.
It becomes process.
Process becomes structured information.
Structured information acquires sensory dimensions.
Those dimensions can eventually become prediction, interpretation and another human experience.
And suddenly I realise:
Screen Signals is doing something strangely similar with culture.
EVENT
↓
RECORDING
↓
SIGNAL
↓
ASSOCIATION
↓
INTERPRETATION
↓
ART
The scientific/technological project and the artistic project unexpectedly converge methodologically.
Both are asking:
What survives when human experience passes through different representations?
And that question is considerably more interesting to me than proving who sent the dinosaur.
THREE CONJUNCTIONS — TWO ALGORITHMIC, ONE EVENT-BASED
So let’s document this properly.
① Apple / Croissant-Saurus Algorithmic encounter.
② Microsoft / Mentos × Coke Algorithmic encounter.
③ Elevator dinosaur + holiday soundtrack Event-based encounter.
And behind those three sits something particularly useful analytically:
④ CakeOsaurus A documented creative concept that existed beforehand during Coco Beta 1 — 27.09.26.
That fourth element doesn’t prove a sender.
It improves the chronology.
And that’s exactly the distinction Screen Signals needs.
THEN ANOTHER SONG ENTERS
Toward the end of my Reel another musical fragment arrives.
And the idea that catches me is essentially:
Are you looking for a change?
Which gives the whole montage an unexpectedly elegant structure:
IMPACT
↓
UNCERTAINTY
↓
HUMOUR
↓
CELEBRATION
↓
CHANGE
Something that initially hurt becomes something funny.
Something funny becomes something worth investigating.
And something investigated becomes art.
That is already enough.
AND WHAT ABOUT HM?
Within my own spiritual vocabulary, I have previously expressed the belief — or hope — that HM would help.
Naturally, therefore, when independent events begin falling into unusually elegant configurations, that spiritual interpretation becomes part of my experience.
But another intellectual tradition is equally important to me.
I spent part of my academic life at the Université libre de Bruxelles.
And that means something.
Libre examen.
Question.
Examine.
Test.
Keep competing hypotheses alive.
Remain capable of changing your interpretation.
Faith does not require abandoning epistemology.
And rational inquiry does not require pretending that an experience cannot carry profound personal meaning.
So I can simultaneously say:
“This feels meaningful to me.”
and:
“I don’t know what caused it.”
Those two sentences are perfectly compatible.
In fact, Screen Signals increasingly depends upon keeping them compatible.
THE SCREEN SIGNALS RULE
So perhaps we finally have the methodology.
Occurrence is fact.
Chronology is testable.
Correspondence is observable.
Meaning is interpretation.
Intent requires evidence.
Creation is our choice.
That final line may be the most important.
Because whatever produced these encounters —
algorithm,
probability,
culture,
attention,
memory,
HM,
or simply one particularly productive weekend —
I don’t actually need to decide which explanation wins in order to make something from it.
SO… DO MICROSOFT, APPLE & MP6 NOW OWE US A PEACE SPONSORSHIP? 😂
No.
But there’s a serious idea hiding inside the joke.
What if playful multisensory technology could actually become an instrument for cultural dialogue?
Think about the ingredients:
JRF.
MP6.
Food.
Games.
Children.
Music.
Visual storytelling.
Shared recipes.
Different cultures describing the same sensory experience.
Suddenly CakeOsaurus might actually have legs.
Possibly extremely short prehistoric ones.
🦖
And that could eventually become a legitimate partnership proposition.
Not:
“Your algorithm sent me a sign, therefore please sponsor us.”
But:
“Independent encounters inspired an unusual creative concept. We turned that coincidence into a demonstrable project. Would you like to help us build it?”
Now we’re somewhere useful.
That’s how a signal becomes constructive.
THE INFORMAL INVITATION
Inside the artistic grammar of the Reel, however, I’m perfectly happy to accept one invitation.
Not a secret invitation from any individual.
A musical one.
The song says:
COME, LET’S MAKE OURSELVES A HOLIDAY.
Fine.
Invitation accepted. 🌿 :3
My Sukkah is already standing.
Bring the dinosaur.
Bring the drum.
Bring the motorcycles.
Apparently Microsoft has supplied the Mentos and Coca-Cola.
Apple has baked something prehistoric.
Coco brought CakeOsaurus.
MP6 is attempting to record the sensory consequences.
And somewhere in the middle of all this:
Namasthay is making another film.
😂
THE HOLIDAY VERSION
Perhaps this chapter therefore resolves into something simpler than all the preceding singularities.
The musical sequence had become:
BETTER OFF ALONE?
↓
I HAVE NOBODY
↓
I WANT YOU TO STAY
And now another completely independent musical object arrives saying:
COME, LET’S MAKE OURSELVES A HOLIDAY.
I am not calling that a conversation between people.
I am calling it a rather wonderful conversation:
between songs.
And songs are allowed to meet.
They’ve been meeting inside Namasthay albums for years.
A NOTE FOR ANYONE FOLLOWING THE RABBIT 🐇
You don’t need to believe any of this.
In fact:
please don’t.
Observe it.
Check it.
Laugh at it.
Notice what was there beforehand.
Notice what arrived afterward.
Distinguish what happened from what I made it mean.
And then watch what montage does to all of it.
Because synchronicity becomes much more interesting when we resist forcing it into proof.
Sometimes:
a dinosaur is a dinosaur.
A Sukkah is a Sukkah.
A recipe is a recipe.
A song is a song.
And somehow—
when the edit begins—
they make a holiday together.
חג שמח — Chag Sameach. 🌿🦖♾️
