SCREEN SIGNALS III + I — STAY ♾️

Something happened to our little rabbit hole.

The previous recurrence ended with a question:

BETTER OFF ALONE?

Three appearances.A Reel.A concert in Rebecq.And finally an unexpected return into Namasthay’s own archive — album #36, ROOSTED, through Alice.

I deliberately left the question unanswered.

Then another performance appeared. Israel.

Narkis, live at Radius 100FM.

And this time the construction itself stopped me:

an Israeli song called 06 crosses into Rihanna’s STAY.

The emotional movement is extraordinary:

absence → longing → stay.

And suddenly the question hanging over the previous Screen Signal seems to rhyme with another piece of music.

Not an answer from a person.Not proof of a hidden communication.

A musical answer.

That’s different.

And perhaps more interesting.

Because Rihanna already occupies a very old place in my own private symbolic vocabulary—protection, endurance, the umbrella, remaining standing when circumstances turn strange.

Then there is another small numerical rhyme:

The previous archival convergence had led us back to:

36 — ROOSTED.

Does 06 → 36 mean anything?

I have absolutely no idea. Although symbolically it's close...

But by now Screen Signals has become an experiment in precisely this question:

When independent cultural objects begin forming an apparently coherent narrative, where does coincidence end and artistic meaning begin?

We don’t need to invent an invisible sender to find that fascinating.

Perhaps art itself is the receiver.

Perhaps the artist is simply the instrument that notices.

BETTER OFF ALONE?
